We had the misfortune of entering just as the Jersey Shore crew was exiting. My camera was spotted and I was warned to not take photos of the cast. Please. A half-drunk cast member was sitting outside on the stoop, sipping his beer and explaining to two girls in broken Italian how he is 'famoso in...come si dice everywhere?' Thankfully that was before we had eaten. And for a pizzeria in the dead center of town (where MTV reality shows choose to shoot), it wasn't too shabby. The mozzarella was gummy, but plentiful and in actual balls. The crust had a good, sweetish flavor, but also it was on the chewy side. We split our regular Margherita and a Toscana (a "white" pizza with garlic, parsley and porcini), chosen from a long list of options. The Margherita's tomato sauce was strangely tangy and the parsley on the Toscana was super powerful (not in a good way). For a touristy, "Americanized" place, you're not going to get any better, and it's going to be difficult to find another pizzeria selling T-shirts...of which all the Jersey Shore peeps were sporting.

FABIO: 8.5/10
