The pizza, at least the Margherita, is a huge disappointment at Le Lance, and I think it's exacerbated by the inconsistency of a fabulous location (overlooking Florence) with an elegant set-up (different levels of spacious inside and outside dining) serving up just mediocre meals. I expected at least a decent pizza, not one that competes with the tourist traps in the center. The pizza was thin, but not crunchy. It was ugly, without even a basil leaf to hide behind. The tomato sauce was scarce and the cheese was just gross, like cheap cheddar microwaved on stale chips. Really...a shame!

Il locale è bello, la zona (Fiesole) ancor di più, il problema è la pizza: base sottilissima, praticamente una sfoglia, è condita con un qualcosa che se è mozzarella non è nella sua migliore espressione, se è un altro formaggio non ci sta bene. Considerato che nel menù c'è scritto mozzarella e soprattutto la chiamano pizza, forse è meglio scendere nella Firenze meno esteta.
