Wow, this pizza was such a disappointment! When it came to the table, I thought for sure it was going to make it onto our Top Ten list! The crust looked good, the sauce was a nice color, there were abundant blobs of mozzarella...it was really a beautiful pizza! But, it turned out that the crust was just OK, the tomato sauce was leaning too much on the strong side, and the cheese had an inexplicably mild weirdness to it. I was zoning out, concentrating on the yellow pools of oil atop the cheese, when it suddenly occurred to me that all the jacked-up flavors were coming from just that! The oil!...and it tasted like soap! It tasted exactly like the oil we had to use in Morocco when we were making pasta back at the riad. And it also reminded me of the oil at Cinzia's. I just plain don't like it.

Qui la pizza è un insieme di ingredienti che non riescono a fondersi bene l'uno con l'altro. Presi singolarmente non sono male: la pasta è più sul basso, eccetto se si prende quella DOC che è un pò più alta. Mozzarella e pomodoro senza infamia e senza lode. Il risultato però non mi ha fatto alzare da tavola soddisfatto, ma neanche insoddisfatto. Non so, è una pizza che rimane lì, nel mezzo, come il nome della via in cui sta.
