As a person who stops eating at the sight of a loose hair anywhere near the dining area, I especially appreciate this snippet from Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas by Tom Robbins. It pretty much sums up how I feel about the pizza at Fuori Piazza. It's not good, it's not bad...so why bother? And then there was an eyelash camping-out on one of my artichokes...

È difficile dare un giudizio su pizze di questo tipo: si presenta sul piatto un qualcosa bello a vedersi, tutto sembra al punto giusto, i colori sono della giusta tonalità; però poi, una volta che entrano in gioco solo le papille gustative, nel buio della bocca, il tutto si riduce a un sapore striminzito, poco corposo, che lascia insoddisfatti. Per carità, la pizza non è cattiva, è bassa, e mozzarella e pomodoro sono discreti, ma non ti fanno alzare da tavola soddisfatto.
