One of the best things about going out for pizza is that you can wear practically the same thing you would if the pizza were being delivered to your couch. No one should feel like they have to put on a cocktail dress to go out for a pizza, but our jacket'n'tie waiter at Le Follie couldn't disagree more. With a look at him, the white tablecloths and candles, I began to suspect I was paying more for the atmosphere than for a quality pizza. I can't say my intuition was too far off. The pizza arrived splashing in a soup of oil and tomatoes...that had a notably good flavor! The crust wasn't bad, just a hint of a burnt taste. Therefore, the "madness"- as the name "follie" implies, must refer to the mozzarella. Its gumminess impossible to exaggerate, my jaws tired of chewing mid-pizza. I left a good portion of the crust on the plate. A filling and semi-satisfactory experience earns this pizza a 6 out of 10.

Ambiente troppo elegante per una pizza, con il capocamerieri tutto vestito elegante che ti viene incontro appena superi la soglia e ti accompagna al tavolo con modi falsamente gentili. Poi nei costo finale tutto questo si paga...la pizza è discreta, in particolare la pasta, con una crosta croccante abbastanza alta, veramente gustosa. Giudizio positivo anche per il pomodoro, mentre negativo sulla mozzarella che non ha un sapore fresco ed è un pò gommosa, il che la rende immangiabile quando non è più calda. Peccato, perchè soprattutto quando si sceglie la Margherita la mozzarella è fondamentale.
