ANNIE: 6/10
Regginella, in the heart of the San Lorenzo market, next to the Medici Chapels, is the perfect pitstop for the novice pizza eater. Thanks to Groupon, our stomachs were prepped with coccoli, crostini and slices of salami and prosciutto crudo. Everything was good, but not fantastic. (Well, that's a lie. I was disappointed with the coccoli which were sweet, dessert coccoli, as I had been dreaming of the plain or salty ones all day.) The crudo had an orange tinge to it, and this same passive-aggressive lack of quality spilled over onto the main course. I ordered the Capricciosa without hotdog and ham. The artichokes surprisingly seemed fresh, and the olives and mushrooms were normal. The mozzarella and tomato sauce gave me nothing to complain about. I could even say they were yummy. The crust was thin, with the right amount of chew and crunch, but it had the flavor of a dough you make at home, when you're not really sure what you're doing. Far from spectacular, but a passing-grade experience especially if you don't know there's better out there.

FABIO: 5/10
