It was a good sign when the server walked by with someone else's pizza and I saw that the mozzarella and the tomato sauce showed a distinct separation. With that, Il Clarinetto had already earned an above average score. Fabio and I shared a Margherita and a Margherita with porcini added. Sadly, the porcini were kind of hard. The crust was thin and slightly undercooked. I would have preferred it either a bit thicker or a bit crunchier. But, ho hum. The tomato sauce had an over-cooked, over-spiced taste to it that I didn't care for. The mozzarella, however, was really yummy. OK, but nothing much to toot your clarinet over.

La pizza è di quelle basse con crosta un pò biscottata. La mozzarella è di buona qualità e nella quantità giusta. Quello che rovina il tutto è il pomodoro che da un sapore troppo forte, un sapore non buono. Ho anche provato un pezzo con porcini e non mi sono sembrati buoni. Per fortuna c'èra una tv con la partita.
