When we sat down, the guys next to us had just finished their pizzas and had ordered two more. And when their pizzas came, I was envious that they weren't ours. What a relief! After weeks of chewless swallowing to avoid the grossness from saturating my mouth, finally a pizza was set before me (by a friendly and funny waiter) that appeared both edible and appetizing! Sure, there was hardly a bite of crust that wasn't burnt, and the tomato sauce was rather acidic...but what I appreciated most, after weeks of deprivation, were the sauce-distinguishable clumps of mozzarella: it looked, smelled and almost tasted like a real pizza.

La pizza si presenta bene, crosta alta, mozzarella nella quantità giusta. Il pomodoro è di quel rosso troppo intenso a cui in genere si associa non un buon sapore; ormai potrebbe quasi chiamarsi in pittura color "rosso pomodoro pizza scadente"! Anche la mozzarella, una volta assaggiata, non brilla in freschezza, la crosta un pò gommosa. Peccato, un occasione persa.
