Right next to the Oblate library, you can eat a satisfying pizza while enjoying fast and friendly service. The pizza at Boia is dry, not crunchy or without moisture, but dry in that it isn't wet. A lot of pizzas have juicy mozzarella and oil on top, making them wet pizzas, which is usually a very good thing (as long as it isn't the tomato sauce that's making the pizzas so well-lubricated). But being a dry pizza isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's difficult to describe, but it was like my pizza had been put in one of those dehydration machines, but just for a minute, so that it came out ever-so-slightly smaller and a bit less...wet. I got the Salsiccia & Broccoli pizza, and all the ingredients tasted of quality and freshness. I'd definitely go back.

Servizio veloce, a me piace quando hai la sensazione che non vedano l'ora di liberare il tuo tavolo per non far aspettare i nuovi clienti, il problema è quando accade il contrario... a parte questo, la pizza è buona, niente di eccezionale, ma c'è la vicinanza al Duomo che in genere non favorisce la qualità. Crosta bassa, mozzarella e pomodoro che non sfigurano, la pizza però non decolla, rimane inespressa, basterebbe poco, ma così sembra tanto.

It's always hard for me to believe when I eat a decent pizza in the center of the center, but, it's happened once again! The crust was really good; it had that slightly sweet, fresh taste and wasn't crunchy or too doughy. I got the white (no tomato sauce) Salsiccia and Stracchino, but the pieces of salsiccia were so small that I got bored with the pizza's lack of flavor fairly quickly. Sausage often overwhelms a pizza, but this time I found myself wishing either for more salt or maybe a vegetable...but, it was still very edible. I'd go back!

Sembra il classico locale per turisti in cui viene servita una sfoglia con ingredienti scadenti sopra che di pizza ha solo il nome. In effetti la pizza è del tipo bassa, mentre gli ingredienti non mi sono sembrati male, anche se c'èra troppo pomodoro e poca mozzarella. Ho preso una vegetariana per cui le tante verdure sopra hanno coperto la vera qualità complessiva dei sapori base; la prossima volta metterò da parte i pregiudizi e prenderò la margherita.

Feeling festive for our 100th pizza review, we called Pizzaman Party. The delivery guy showed up more than a half hour early, actually beating us to the apartment. The wait in the car caused the cheese to solidify, turning our pizza to plastic. The crust was thick and cold and super salty. It didn't have the consistency of a pizza crust, but of the airy chewiness of day-old garlic bread. The tomato sauce was clumps of heatless paste and I already told you about the mozzarella. The Teglione di Margherita is meant to feed 3-4 people, and it would have been perfect for a slumber party of about six ten year-old boys; we couldn't even finish the equivalent of a single portion. So much for the celebration!

È vero che Pizza Man più passa il tempo e più peggiora, ma qui abbiamo toccato il fondo. La pizza è alta, con la base tipo da panificio, soffice ma troppo pastosa. La mozzarella, che almeno in passato aveva contraddistinto Pizza Man per aver portato un ingrediente fresco nella pizza, è qui nella peggiore espressione: uno strato uniforme duro e compatto che appena diventato tiepido è
diventato immangiabile. Il pomodoro aveva un sapore troppo forte. A parziale scusante, ma in realtà è un aggravante, è che hanno portato la pizza mezz'ora in anticipo rispetto all'ora pattuita, per cui quando sono arrivato ho trovato Pizzaman Party in macchina che mi aspettava: la pizza quindi è stata 10 minuti nel forno e sarà sicuramente peggiorata; per questo la vorrei riprovare, ma non credo che una buona pizza diventi così immangiabile per essere stata 10 minuti
in forno, sembrava quella dell'autogrill!

It's like taking vacation days and spending your entire time-off at home, doing nothing. If you're not going somewhere new or doing something exciting, you might as well be at work! The pizza at Rivali is like the pizza at a zillion other places - mediocre ingredients and blah flavor. Why bother? If you're gonna have a pizza, do it right and don't do it here.

Avendo visto nei tavoli accanto che cosa mi avrebbero portato se avessi ordinato una margherita (la solita pizza bassa con ingredienti non di qualità, tanto ormai lo capisco dai colori), ho optato per il calzone; è strano, ho notato che, anche le pizzerie più scadenti, il calzone lo fanno decentemente, per cui, quando voglio andare sul sicuro, lo ordino. Si giudica male perchè la pasta, come si sa, è alta alla base e svolazzante quella sopra. Gli ingredienti, cotto e mozzarella, erano normali. Sono costretto a dare come voto la sufficienza pur sapendo che ho voluto autoingannarmi con questa scelta.
