The only enjoyable part of this meal, aside from my company and the large coke, was the street entertainer who saved first his finger, and then his entire arm, from being sliced off by some sort of magic guillotine. In the lamest of terms, this pizza sucked: The entire bottom of my pizza was burnt; the tomatoes tasted like they were straight from the jar; the mozzarella was gummy. I was hungry, but didn't want to eat. I was the baby you have to distract with all sorts of tricks to get their meal down.

La cosa che più mi ha colpito è la bellezza della pizza quando te la portano al tavolo. Sembra tutto perfetto: i colori, la quantità di mozzarella, la consistenza della pasta e crosta. Anche il profumo. Poi però la delusione: mozzarella gommosa, pomodoro un pò scadente, crosta che non si scioglie in bocca. Eppure tra un boccone e l'altro la guardavo nella sua bellezza e speravo che il boccone dopo sarebbe stato all'altezza. Niente. Poi quando ha smesso di essere bella calda un disastro. Peccato però. In ogni caso ha una sua dignità.
